You’d think heading Patek Philippe in the UK would require a sedate and gentlemanly calendar of lavish lunches and long afternoons with clients at Wimbledon, Lords or Twickenham. The reality is rather different when the brand is celebrating its 175th anniversary in the same year that it is planning for London to host the Watch Art Grand Exhibition in 2015.

The company’s UK managing director Mark Hearn reveals that he is in the midst of “very intense and strategic planning, and strong team work,” as it prepares for the Watch Art Grand Exhibition from May 27th to June 7th, 2015, at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

That’s not all Mark has on his punishing to-do list. He is also working on reopening a greatly expanded Patek Philippe boutique on London’s Bond Street at the end of the year.

The watch brand would not be winning on so many fronts without the energy and talent of its UK team and the passion of its retail partners, Mark stresses. “Patek Philippe UK is a unique working environment and the brand would not be as successful in the UK as it is today without my team’s hard work and dedication. The positive working relationships the team has also translates to the relationships we have with our retailers and end consumers, which can only result in positive achievements across the UK as we work so closely together,” he states.
